Odongo returns as Shujaa name squad for final Challenger Series
The men's tournament will be played in Munich, Germany with the women's final round being hosted in Krakow, Poland on May 18-19.
Speedster Odongo returns to the Shujaa squad after missing out the Uruguay round through injury.
Kabras Sugar's Brian Tanga is also making a return to the Kevin Wambua led team after missing out in the last round through illness while Dennis Abukuse, Elvis Olukusi and Ben Salem who made the team to Uruguay will not be on the plane for the Germany assignment.
In the women’s team, Freshia Oduor and Edith Nairaka have been handed their first call ups to the Lionesses side replacing Japan-based Grace Okulu and Janet Okello, who have not been released for this assignment by their club, MIE Pearls.
The experienced Sheila Chajira will captain the team to Poland.
Shujaa are in Pool C in Germany alongside Chile, Japan and Portugal while the Lionesses are in Pool C with Belgium, Mexico and Poland.
Both sides will be battling to finish the overall standings in the top four ahead of the promotion playoffs in Madrid, Spain
