Papa Shirandulas Kawira gushes about husband on first anniversary

Acclaimed Papa Shirandula actor Joy Karambu, popularly known as Kawira, on Sunday wrote a beautiful message to her husband on Instagram on their first wedding anniversary.

 “It doesn’t matter where we’re at or what we have, as long as I have you by my side, I’ll be happy with that. I can’t imagine life without you by my side (sic),” she intimated.

May you continue to be a wonderful husband. Wishing you endless JOY (me hehehe) on our anniversary. #God‘sfaithfulness #1stAnniversary (sic),” she added.

Kawira rose to fame when she cracked people’s ribs in her role as a high school girl from Meru with a heavy accent on the show.

Kawira, who is a last-born in a family of four, and her husband, gospel artiste, youth pastor and motivational speaker Ephantus Wahome got married at the Kenya Forestry Research Institute (KEFRI).

Wahome is also famous for his song Safari.

Other popular artistes in the industry and her fellow actors in Papa Shirandula, Wilbroda, Kambua, Simbo and Dunco Atalaku graced the wedding.

Wahome and Kawira were friends for about four years and engaged in numerous events together as friends before Wahome decided that it was time to ask for her hand in marriage.

Kawira is also a radio presenter at Meru FM and an avid MC.
