Whereas his predecessor, Pope Benedict XVI, only posted 39 tweets, Pope Francis has posted a whopping 639 tweets since he took office, with many tackling issues that are not strictly ‘religious’.
With over 7.93M million followers on his official @Pontifex handle, Pope Francis has made a point of communicating with his followers on Twitter on various topics.
Though he’s never been married, Pope Francis has often given advice on the esteemed institution.
