Singer Rufftone gets a baby girl

Veteran gospel artiste Roysmith Mwatia, better known as Rufftone, and wife Krystal have been blessed with a baby girl as they mark their first wedding anniversary Friday.

Karen happens to be the best gift for the celebrity couple as they mark one year since tying the knot.

Speaking to Citizen Digital via phone, the excited Rufftone said he and Krystal are very happy to welcome the new-born, and that God has been faithful to them.

“The baby has come and we are so happy. We are blessing God for that. Her name is Karen,” said Rufftone.

Mr. Igi Igi, however, was sceptical to reveal more details about the baby as he and wife are protective of the child and would not want her on the limelight.

Rufftone exchanged vows in July 2014 in a colourful wedding with fellow Gospel singer, Susan Njoki Mwaura, popularly known as Krystal.

The Mungu Baba hit-maker is the elder brother of gospel bigwig Daddy Owen.
