Bus catches fire at Githurai, on the Thika Super Highway

A Thika bound bus is reported to have caught fire around Githurai area on the busy Thika Super-highway.

In a video seen by Citizen Digital, members of the public were seen at the scene with fire extinguishers trying to put out the fire.

The accident ocurred on the overpass that serves as a major gateway to and from Githurai and exiting Nairobi.

Details on the passengers and crew inside the bus are yet to be determined.

Motorists have since been advised to use the service lane.
