Man kills wife in cold blood

Police in Tigania East are looking for a 35-year-old man suspected of killing his wife and 3-year-old-son at Kiguchwa village in Tigania East Sub County.

According to Mikinduri OCS Thomas Kimutai, the two separated after a domestic quarrel earlier before the suspect pursued the victim to her parents’ home where she had take shelter. He reportedly bundled his wife and son in a car and sped off towards Meru Town.

The wife’s relatives file a report at the Meru Police Station saying she had been kidnapped before launching a search for her.

According to police, the woman was apparently murdered at a different location and dumped outside their house as a trail of blood was discovered near the scene.

The child’s whereabouts remain unknown but police suspect the boy could also have been murdered.

The OCS is now urging the public to volunteer information that will lead to the arrest of the suspect.
