Obama Reads Mean Twitter Jokes About Kenya On Live TV

Kimmel jokingly introduced the President as the “first Kenyan-born Muslim socialist ever elected to run this country” and their conversation alternated between serious and silly.

As a routine on Kimmel talk show, celebrities have to read mean Twitter comments about themselves. After reading a few, Obama joked saying: “I have to say, though, those were not that mean, you should see what the Senate says about me.”

Obama joked about the perks and restrictions he faces, revealing that he is not allowed to use cell phones that have recorders in them.

"I don't text. I email. I still have a BlackBerry," he said.

He also joked about the fact he visits the dentist in the White House basement but cannot drive. Kimmel asked if that was because he is required to have a birth certificate to get a driver's license.

President Obama responded saying: “In Kenya, we drive on the other side of the road.”
