Police officer shot dead in Kitengela

Tension is high in Kitengela, Kajiado County after a police officer was shot dead by four armed gangsters outside a supermarket.

The police officer, who was going about his business in the area, died on the spot as the thugs managed to escape with his gun.

According to eye witnesses, the robbers were running away after stealing from a bank in EPZ, Athi River.

A civilian was also killed by the robbers.
