Two arraigned for stripping granny, making her drink urine

Two middle-aged men were on Friday arraigned in court for allegedly stripping an elderly and forcing her to drink her own urine.

According to court documents, the accused, Josphat Chesire and Kipkor Kiptui, jointly with others not before court, intentionally and unlawfully insulted the modesty of a woman on June 27, 2016 at around 1.00 pm at Tenges in Baringo County by forcefully stripping and forcing her to urinate and drink her urine.

While giving her testimony in court in local dialect, the victim narrated how the two accused persons in the company of others came to her house and took her to one of accused person’s house, beat and later forced her to undress and urinate.

They later asked her how many days she needed to live in this world and when she answered them seven days, they kicked her out of the house, after which she was taken to hospital.

She later reported the matter to the police and the accused were arrested.
