Two children strangled, dumped in forest

Two bodies of children aged two and seventeen years were Monday night recovered at Ngong forest in Nairobi with indications of strangulation.

Nairobi Police Boss Japheth Koome said the bodies of the two children, a girl, 17, and a boy, 2, were discovered by forest guards who were on patrol Monday evening.

“The victims seemed to have been strangled with a piece of cloth before being dumped in the forest,” said Koome.

He said that the identification process has kicked off as well as investigations to establish the reasons behind the killings and apprehend the murderers.

“We are yet to know the culprits behind this heinous act,” Koome noted.

The bodies were taken to City Mortuary.
