Two killed, 14 injured in Migori accident

Two people died and fourteen others injured after their vehicles were involved in an accident at Koigo area along the Kisii – Sirare Highway Friday morning.

A 14-seater Matatu ferrying passengers from Migori collided head on with an oncoming saloon car.

Migori Level Four Hospital medical superintendent, Dr. James Oduor, said the two passengers died on arrival to hospital while 14 others sustained injuries and were treated and discharged.

Leaders from Migori County have called on road users to exercise caution by driving at the recommended speed and observing traffic rules.
