VIDEO: Military Reshuffle

President Kenyatta has this evening announced mini reshuffle in the Kenya Defense Forces top brass. President Kenyatta promoted Major General Robert Kibochi to lieutenant general and appointed him army commander. Lieutenant General Kibochi replaces Lieutenant General Leonard Ngondi who moves to head the National Defense College. President Kenyatta also appointed Lieutenant General Johnson ondiek force commander United Nations mission in South Sudan while Major General Walter Koipaton has been appointed deputy army commander. Major General George Owino appointed general officer commanding Westcom and commander Kenya Military Academy while Brigadier Adan Mulata was promoted to major general and appointed assistant chief of Defense forces in-charge of operations, training and doctrine.
