VIDEO: Ban Ki-Moon, Kenyatta call for cessation of hostilities in South Sudan

President Kenyatta and United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki Moon have called on South Sudan’s President Salva Kiir and his Vice President Riek Machar to abide by the peace agreement signed last year…
In a joint briefing with President Kenyatta, Ban Ki Moon said peace in South Sudan and neighbouring countries would enhance the region’s stability.
A ceasefire declared last week by Kiir and Machar appears to be holding, just over a week after fighting broke out between their troops in the capital, juba.
Kenyatta has also asserted that Kenya which is grappling with frequent attacks from the Al Shabaab will carry on with the repatriation of Somali refugees.
