It’s nearly three months since 74-year-old James Weru was pardoned by President Uhuru Kenyatta after 42-years in jail for murder.
Weru has been staying at the Nairobi Probation and After Care Services, a center that is tasked with preparing ex-convicts for integration back into their communities.
And even though some family members first rejected him, he has finally travelled back home in Nyeri County where he hopes to live a normal life.
