Kenya’s Gor Mahia FC will be looking to win their first trophy in 30 years when they face Azam FC of Tanzania in the CECAFA Kagame Cup finals at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam.

Ahead of the match, Gor Mahia received overwhelming support from Kenyans and the country’s leadership including President Uhuru Kenyatta, who has sent his best wishes to the team.

In his twitter post Sunday morning, President Kenyatta said: We pray for victory, Kenya hopes that after decades of waiting @OfficialGMFC will lift the #CECAFAKagameCup. Viva #Gor Mahia! Viva K’ogalo”.
