Geoffrey Wachira Meet Geoffrey Wachira... Education: Diploma in Mass Communication Career: Geoffrey Wachira joined Royal Media Services in December 2005 as a sports reporter on TV and a radio sports presenter. In June 2006 he joined the TV presenter’s team as a Kiswahili sports anchor. In 2008 he was moved to the English bulleting at 9pm but after 10 months he moved back to Citizen Nipashe. Apart from being a sports anchor he has on different days presented main news in all bulletins on Citizen TV except Sunday Live. He also gained International skills by covering the 2007 World Cross Country Championships in Mombasa, the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations in Ghana. The 2008 community shield match between Manchester United and Portsmouth at the Wembley stadium in London, the Olympics torch relay in Dar es Salaam Tanzania in 2008, and the 2009 World Cross Country Championships in Amman Jordan.
