The National Assembly has approved the nomination of Dr.Patrick Ngugi as Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) governor, Sheila Mbijiwe as his deputy and Mohamed Nyaoga as chair.
This comes after they faced the Parliamentary Committee for Finance, Planning and Trade in a vetting process that meant to gauge their suitability to manage the country’s monetary affairs.
The three were nominated by President Uhuru Kenyatta earlier this month.
