3 Tuskys Supermarket branches closed in Nairobi, Kitale & Mombasa
Tuskys Supermarket has temporarily shut down three of its branches in Nairobi, Kitale and Mombasa.
A statement from Benard Kahianyu, the Chairman Tusker Mattresses Limited which operates Tuskys, said the move will ensure that the company continues providing services while protecting customers better.
“We have noted that in some areas where we have multiple locations close to each other, we can adequately serve customers better and more efficiently by consolidating our businesses in spacious branches which allow us to implement social distancing and personal hygiene measures better,” he said.
The three branches are Tom Mboya (Nairobi), Kitale Mega and Digo Road (Mombasa).
Customers are to be rerouted to Tuskys Imara (Nairobi), Tusks Kitale CBD branch and Tuskys Bandari (Mombasa).
The Chairman also said Tuskys Supermarket has launched online shopping via the website and WhatsApp platform as well as home delivery services.
He also assured customers that prices of products will remain fair and equitable.
