Baringo Farmers Earn Millions from Coffee Shop in Korea

Speaking in Nakuru town, Luka Rotich, Baringo County minister in charge of Agriculture said that this will boost farming of the crop as 14  tonnes of coffee that has already been sold has earned farmers Sh6 million.

He added that over 1 million coffee seedlings would be planted in the county within the next year.

Mr Rotich further said that his ministry has begun an ambitious programme to increase the number of fruit trees planted in the county by buying one extra fruit seedling for every seedling a farmer buys.

He urged farmers to take advantage of the program.
