Blue Band gets better with Omega 3 & 6; rewards consumers with contest

Blue Band, a leading margarine brand produced by Unilever, has now been fortified to include essential fats like Omega 6 and Omega 3.

The spread, which has been loved for its great taste since the 1950’s, is now the only spread in East Africa with Omega 3 and 6 which are important for the growth and development of children.

Blue Band, which is already packed with seven vitamins, has been carefully made to improve nutrition in Kenya, while maintaining the taste consumers have come to love.

The added Omega 3 and 6 have been extracted from locally grown Kenyan Rapeseed.

To celebrate this improvement, Blue Band has launched a competition dubbed Good News Worth Spreading.
