Bluebird Air Cargo flights to continue operating normally

Regional airline, Bluebird Aviation has reiterated that its cargo flights will remain operational and run normally during the current period where local passenger flights were suspended by the government as part of measures to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.

The company says it will continue offering cargo bookings from international clients including dispatch of COVID-19 vaccines to various parts of the East African region and beyond.

“Following a notice issued by the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority KCAA on 29th March 2021 and in compliance with the Presidential Executive Order No. 2 Dated 26th March 2021, we wish to clarify that our cargo flights remain operational and will run normally,” said the airline in a statement on Wednesday.

“We are ready to play an integral role in fighting the pandemic by accommodating the extra cargo capacity brought by demand for COVID-19 Vaccines.”

Meanwhile, the company continues to offer humanitarian based services.
