Devki Group Gets Loan from IFC

The manufacturing industry where yet another local company has secured a mega loan from the world bank’s private sector lending arm, the international finance corporation. The national cement company, associated with the Simba brand of cement, has secured a 6 point 1 billion shillings loan that will largely go towards the construction of its new cement factory in Kajiado County. And as Patrick Igunza reports, the move is set to put Kenya on the map as one of the biggest cement producers in Sub-Saharan Africa.
