The shilling is now exchanging at an indicative rate of 92 shillings and 61 cents buying, 92 shillings and 75 cents selling to the dollar.

 

The home unit is exchanging at 99 shillings and 65 cents buying, 99 shillings and 81 cents selling against the Euro while trading at 137 shillings and 67 cents buying, 137 shillings and 89 cents selling to the Sterling Pound.

 

Closer home, the Kenyan shilling is firm against its regional counterparts.

 

Versus the Rwandese Franc, the shilling is trading at 7 shillings and 38 cents buying, 7 shillings and 48 cents selling.

 

Against the Tanzanian shilling, the Kenyan shilling is exchanging at 19 shillings and 89 cents buying, 20 shillings and 2 cents selling.

 

To its Ugandan counterpart, the home currency is exchanging at 31 shillings and 96 cents buying, 32 shillings and 12 cents selling.
