High Court Halts Oil Exploration Activity In Wajir County

The high court has issued temporary orders restraining the government from evicting north eastern residents from oil exploration region and the commencement of oil and gas drilling. High court judge, George Odunga has issued the order on grounds that the case poses serious constitutional issues that require to be determined.
