Infinix S4: Impressive gadget with some nifty features

Leading phone manufacturer Infinix recently launched the latest gadget in the market, Infinix S4.

The new Infinix S4 that comes with a 32MP AI selfie camera is packed with the latest AI imaging techniques.

The 6.2’ water drop display screen raises the bar for much better portrait images and a super-fast octa-core chipset.

Camera

It is notably the first time that Infinix has packaged on a single device 13MP + 8MP + 2MP depth-of-field sensors.

The triple rear camera setup combined with the Artificial Intelligence and a19:9 aspect ratio balance guarantees vivid images in photography.

This new sensation comes with a water-drop notch that on the 6.2 inch display upscaling the clarity of images like never before.

The selfie camera also comes with various features like video, HDR, Flash, Portrait mode, beauty, and AR shot.

The cover is also quite interesting, by the look of it one would easily bet that it is glass, but it is actually plastic that is well fitted giving it a classy finish.

When it comes to variety of the colours, the S4 just comes in Nebular Blue, Midnight black and black.

The S4 OS comes with an Octa-Core Mediatek P22 processor with a clock speed of 2.0 GHz, along with PowerVR GE8320 GPU.

It is also backed up by 3GB RAM and 32GB internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card slot which makes working with the phone a seamless activity.

Battery and Connectivity

You don’t have to worry about charging your phone since the S4 comes with an impressive 4000mAh battery that is able to last you a day or more on a single charge even through heavy usage.

On connectivity front, the S4 supports 4G , WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5 mm audio jack, FM radio and micro USB port.

Security

The S4 further guarantees security with a three-option lock. You can choose between having a screen lock like a pattern, PIN or Password; a fingerprint unlock; or a face unlock to keep your phone secure.

You also have the option of setting up the ‘Find My Device’ app on the phone to easily locate your device remotely and keep your data secure incase you lose it.

The fingerprint sensor is  notably fast for unlocking the device.

Considering that its retailing at Ksh.14,999 for the 32+3 and Ksh.18,999 for the 64+6, the triple-camera setup flanked by the LED flashlight is the key selling point.
