Inside Britams Court Tussle With Its 4 Former Employees

The multi billion shillings row pitting listed investment company, Britam against four former Britam employees is set to take a new twist. This is following revelations that the former managing director of Britam’s asset management subsidiary, Edwin Dande had sought to buy a 2 percent ownership stake in Acorn group, the same company that Britam had acquired a 25 percent shareholding in. But according to acorn’s managing director, Edward Kirathe, the share purchase move failed to materialize due to souring relations between Britam and acorn.
