Investors dont have to be foreigners DP Ruto

Meru County on Thursday held an international investment conference, which it hopes will attract Sh250 billion worth of new investments.

The event, which took place at the Kenya Methodist University’s Conference Hall, was graced by Deputy President William Ruto.

Ruto told the gathering that investors do not have to be rich or foreign, that people in Meru could also be investors.

“There must be space for local, foreign and international investors,” said DP Ruto.

Agriculture is the predominant economic activity in Meru County, which also recently set up an investment promotion agency
