Jambojet discounts local air tickets in demand push

Regional low-cost carrier Jambojet has discounted the price of local air tickets in a quest to sustain the demand for air travel in the New Year.

The carriers is offering 10,000 seats on its domestic routes at a subsidized Ksh.2,100 one way with the tickets being valid for local travel between January 11 to March 20.

The tickets on offer to customers between Tuesday and Thursday will be applicable to Jambojet’s domestic destinations which include Mombasa, Eldoret, Kisumu, Malindi, Ukunda and from its hub in Nairobi.

“Throughout 2020, we provided our customers with attractive incentives to encourage them to fly in the new normal. As we start the New Year, we remain committed to providing affordable, safe and reliable experience with the customer at the centre of what we do,” said Jambojet Head of Sales and Marketing Titus Oboogi.

The carrier deployed the disruption in 2020 to deepen its local air-traffic network including the launch of direct flight to and from Mombasa, Eldoret and Kisumu without going through its Nairobi hub.

Jambojet is a subsidiary of national carrier Kenya Airways (KQ).
