Kenya Breweries to train bartenders

EABL’s local subsidiary Kenya Breweries Limited (KBL) has unveiled a new bartender academy aimed at training a minimum 10,000 bar operators.

The training program add’s to the firm’s continued support for bars and entertainment joints which includes the recent roll out of subsidy funding to the establishments.

The unveiling of the new facility coincided with this week’s World Bartender Day celebrations which were marked in Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu and Nakuru.

The academy is expected to bring practical knowledge to the operators who have recently been stuck at home during the government’s closure of establishments to contain the pandemic.

“We want to upscale bartenders around the country and set them apart from anyone else and deploy the training anywhere in the world,” said KBL Commercial Director Joel Kamau.
