Kenya Shilling Under Pressure from US Dollar
The Kenyan shilling today remains under pressure to the U.S Dollar with currency traders fearing that the shilling could soon touch the 100 shillings mark to the Dollar.
According to the Central Bank of Kenya, the shilling is trading at 99.47 buying, 99.65 selling to the Dollar.
To the Euro, the shilling is exchanging at 110.29 buying, 110.53 selling while exchanging at 155.25 buying, 155.56 selling to the Sterling Pound.
On the regional front, the home unit is trading at 7.22 buying, 7.30 selling to the Rwandese Franc, 20.14 buying, 20.28 selling to the Tanzanian shilling and at 33.23 buying, 33.39 selling to the Ugandan shilling.
