KNCCI calls for close Kenya-China ties

The Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) has called upon the rest of the country to support close relations with China.

Speaking during a forum aimed at boosting trade ties between the two coin tries, KNCCI Chairman Kiprono Kittony said China has enabled the country to make great strides through growth of infrastructure.

This even as he acknowledged that the balance of trade is heavily tilted in favour of the Asian giant.

“We need to use these forums for technology exchange and deepen relationships…it is right for us to appreciate investments is china is making…..in our infrastructure, a robust one is good allowing most of goods and services, infrastructure never took a short time to repay,” said Kittony.

“Kenya carries out an open policy, this is why China is coming to countries like Kenya,”.
