KWS Hikes Park Fees

Tourism sector players have warned of loss of business following the move by Kenya Wildlife Service to implement new entry fees for both local and foreign tourists visiting national parks across the country.  The new changes contained in a gazette notice signed by environment cabinet secretary Judi Wakhungu, took effect from 1st of January this year. Denis Otieno has more details on this move in which tourism sector players have also expressed fear that we may lose tourists to other destinations.
