Legendary Cell Maker, Eveready Shuts Down

Dry cell battery maker, Eveready East Africa Limited has closed its battery manufacturing plant in Nakuru. The decision, which will leave 98 people jobless, has been prompted by growing competition from cheap battery imports. And as Bella Genga reports, Eveready is now eyeing real estate development to boost its dwindling revenues.
