NCPB Re-Opening Directive

In business, maize farmers in the North Rift are mounting pressure on the government to announce the price at which it will buy maize from them. While welcoming a presidential directive for the re-opening of the national cereals and produce board's silos, farmers have called on the government to set the minimum price at 3200 shillings, saying that the cost of production remains high.
