New Geothermal Power Plant Set For Commissioning

The cost of electricity in Kenya is set to drop by at least thirty percent over the next three months.
This will begin in earnest with the commissioning of a new geothermal power plant in Olkaria, Naivasha this Friday.
Bella Genga spoke with the managing director of Kenya Electricity Generating Company, Albert Mugo on what Kenya’s shift towards geothermal energy means to Kenya’s economy.
