NSSF on the Spot Over Tassia Scheme

The Public Investments Committee spent the better part of the morning querying the national social security fund’s involvement in the 5 billion shillings Tassia two settlement scheme’s infrastructure project. Appearing before the committee for the first time, Labour Cabinet Secretary Kazungu Kambi stated that the project would not be funded by the NSSF but would instead be funded by the settlement scheme’s plot owners.
