Shilling down against dollar

The Kenyan shilling has today edged down further against the U.S. Dollar as end month Dollar demand piled pressure on the shilling.

The shilling is now exchanging at an indicative rate of 102.42 buying, 102.61 selling to the Dollar.

The home unit is trading at 111.96 buying, 112.17 selling against the Euro and at 159.82 buying, 160.15 selling to the Sterling Pound.

On the regional front, the Kenyan currency is exchanging at 6.67 buying, 6.83 selling to the Rwandese Franc, 20.54 buying, 20.67 selling to the Tanzanian shilling and at 33.25 buying, 33.40 selling to the Ugandan shilling.
