Shilling loses against the Dollar

The Kenyan shilling today weakened slightly against the U.S. Dollar pushed down by end month demand for the American currency by oil importers.

The shilling is now exchanging at an indicative rate of 98.55 buying, 98.72 selling to the Dollar.

To the Euro, the shilling is trading at 110.28 buying, 110.50 selling while exchanging at 154.94 buying, 155.25 selling to the Sterling Pound.

Against its regional counterparts, the home unit is exchanging at 7.28 buying, 7.36 selling to the Rwandese Franc, 19.95 buying, 20.09 selling to the Tanzanian shilling and at 33.22 buying, 33.38 selling to the Ugandan shilling.
