Shilling remains unchanged against the dollar

The Kenyan shilling remained relatively unchanged against the US Dollar, even as trading activity took a break for the Christmas festivities.

The local unit closed the day trading at 102.21 buying, and 102.41 selling to the US dollar.

It exchanged at 111.52 buying and 111.76 selling to the Euro, and at 152.20 buying, and 152.55 selling to the Sterling Pound.

Regionally, the Kenyan unit traded at 6.70 buying and 6.72 selling to the South African Rand, 20.84 buying and 20.98 selling to the Tanzanian shilling, and at 32.56 buying and 32.82 selling to the Ugandan shilling.
