Smart Farm: Export Market

The horticultural industry is Kenya’s third highest foreign currency earner with the European Union being the largest consumer of Kenyan fresh produce. But now, seven of the country’s fresh produce exports into the E.U are facing the risk of being banned from the E.U. market after the said commodities which include mangoes were found to contain harmful organisms.
