At the same time, the exchequer Ministry has nominated four candidates to take up spots in the board of the Competition Authority of Kenya (CAK) subject to approval by the National Assembly.

The four include Leah Munuve, Alome Achayo, Dr. David Wanyama and Abdi Mohamed.

The Privatization Commission is a corporate body established under the 2005 Privatization Act and is primarily tasked with formulating, managing and implementing the Privatization Program.

Additionally, the Commission is mandated to implement specific proposals for privatization and carry out functions prescribed in the Privatization Act.
