Twitter outage reported globally as users unable to access

Twitter services were reportedly interrupted on Tuesday evening, with many users complaining of inaccessibility.

According to Outage Report, over 1,300 users had registered complaints within half an hour.

The outage map showed complaints originating from across the globe but the bulk from the U.S. East Coast and Europe.

Many users complained of being redirected to Twitter’s main web page or receiving an error message, Cnet said.

According to News18, both Twitter and Tweetdeck were inaccessible during the outage that also saw over 4,000 reports from Japan, Canada and India.

Twitter Inc. acknowledged that there was a problem and they are investigating it.

“We’ve been experiencing outages across Twitter and TweetDeck. You might have had trouble Tweeting, getting notifications, or viewing DMs. We’re currently working on a fix, and should be back to normal soon,” the company said in a tweet.
