Women in Business  Kenya in deal with BIDCO Africa

Female professionals and business leaders in Kenya have partnered with with BIDCO Africa to provide long lasting solutions to those in manufacturing, supply and distribution.

BIDCO Chairman Dr. Vimal Shah said women need to start businesses no matter how small.

“Starting a business doesn’t have to be huge. It only needs a willing heart and tenacious will. Every woman is in a position to make production in Kenya world class and their participation is very much needed,” he said.

Dr. Shah was speaking during a conference at BIDCO Africa headquarters in Thika where he hosted a team from Women in Business – Kenya.

The women expressed their intention to become retailers and distributors of products from BIDCO Africa.

“In the spirit of the big 4 agenda, a woman has been industrialized from the beginning of time. If running the industry that is a home is possible, then running the economic industry is possible,” said Mary Muthoni Jason, the WIB-Kenya President.

She reiterated the need for women in Kenya to venture big in business and participate fully for the growth of economy.

Women in Business – Kenya is a national association of female professionals who are engaged in business ventures.

It creates forums for women in business and those in white collar jobs to interact and learn business as well as leadership skills.
