Artistes pay tribute to Dancehall star J Capri

After news broke on Friday morning that celebrated Dancehall star J Capri born Phillips Jordan succumbed to her injuries, tributes are flowing in from the Dancehall fraternity on social media.

J Capri passed on early Friday while undergoing treatment at The University Hospital of the West Indies in Kingston, Jamaica.

The sad news hit fans and the entertainment fraternity hard, against the background of earlier reports that doctors at The University Hospital of the West Indies, where the singer was hospitalised, believed she had great potential of full recovery.

J Capri crashed her white Mercedes Benz C-Class on November 22 along Barbican Road in Kingston.

She was pulled from the wreckage by a group of good Samaritans who rushed her to the hospital.

She suffered several broken bones and a serious head injury as a result of the crash.  Sadly, the Reverse It singer succumbed to her injuries.

Several Dancehall celebrities have taken to social media to mourn the late singer.
