Big tune: Kambua, Size 8, Gloria, Willy Paul release video to new jam

Gospel greats Kambua, Size 8, Willy Paul and Gloria Muliro on Friday released the video of their much anticipated song, Sijafka.

The music video, which was directed by talented Young Wallace and audio done by top gospel producer Teddy B, is a masterpiece.

Sijafika mirrors the musical journey of the featuring artistes.

In the song, the musicians denounce the notion of people who often think that since the artistes have recorded many popular hits to their names; and are called to perform in a number of shows, then  they (artistes) are satisfied, comfortable and proud of the fame.

Willy Paul, having been branded as proud and arrogant over time, grabbed the opportunity in the song to clarify he has not yet reached where fans think he has.

He goes further to explain at times he is hurt by the hate he receives yet all he is seeking is Jesus to take control of his life.

“I am honoured to work with Gloria, Size 8 and Kambua because they are role models in the gospel industry; moreover, they are very spiritual and influential,” Willy earlier told Citizen Digital.

Size 8 blends in seamlessly after Willy Paul’s verse; then Kambua follows with well-crafted lines, and Gloria Muliro seals the hit with quality mellow voice.

It’s a big hit for me!

Lovely song, but why mention your names. It’s obvious you are the artists. Must be Willy Paul’s Idea. Ni poa ish ish. Some of the artists among the group, sing some really good songs that just edify the body of christ.

It doesn’t have depth. Should we like a song for it’s content or because of the artist. Good for a while, few sales, performances, gone tomorrow. That’s entertainment not edifying the body of christ.
