Bobbi Kristina’s cause of death established

The cause of death of Bobbi Kristina, the only daughter of famous singer Whitney Houston, has been established, but officials have declined to release the report.

The postmortem results, which were ordered by the Fulton County superior court, were sealed following the US state of Georgia’s instructions.

“The Fulton County medical examiner has classified the cause and manner of Bobbi Kristina Brown’s death,” the order said

The 22-year-old, who was also Bobby Brown’s daughter, died while in hospice care on 26^th July 2015, six months after she was found unresponsive in a bathtub in her Atlanta flat.

Bobbi was buried in August at the Fairview cemetery in Westfield, New Jersey, next to her mother.

A lawsuit by Bobbi Kristina’s court appointed conservator alleges her boyfriend, Nick Gordon, gave her a toxic cocktail and then put her face down in a tub full of cold water.

Roswell police opened an investigation into the allegations but as of yet, no criminal charges have been filed against Gordon with his lawyers terming the civil suits slanderous and meritless.

The lawyer also said that sealing the results would not affect the case, adding that Nick would not incur criminal charges because Kristina was in a coma for a long time before she died.

According to popular tabloid TMZ, authorities do not want the results to interfere with their investigation.

Releasing those results to the public would result in giving the suspects a road map preventing them from making incriminating statements.

Multi-Grammy award winner Whitney Houston was found submerged in a bathtub in her hotel room on the Eve of the Grammy Awards on 11^th February 2012.

In a statement, the LA County Coroner’s office described Houston’s manner of death as an accident. “No trauma or foul play is suspected,” it added.

Kristina’s parents’ fame kept her in the public eye; including her appearances on the reality show Being Bobby Brown.

Brown was 14 when her parents divorced and Houston gained custody. When Houston died, Brown was named as the sole beneficiary of her mother’s estate.
