Facebook post sparks fresh Juliana, Flavour relationship rumors
After their palpable stage chemistry on Coke Studio Africa sent fans speculating on the nature of their relationship off-screen, Juliana Kanyomozi’s Facebook post about Flavour has spawned a fresh wave of relationship rumours.
The sultry Ugandan songstress took to her official Facebook page to wish 31-year-old Flavour, who comes from Nigeria, a happy birthday on Monday.
Posting an image of the Sawa Sawa Sawale singer, Kanyomozi posted: Happy birthday to this immensely talented man Flavour . You are an inspiration not just to me but to many. Thank you for your kind heart and for the lessons learned. #BLESSINGS.”
Though her brief post seemed fairly innocent, fans read between the lines with many suggesting that the two should get romantically involved.
Alice Njoki: You look good together. Marry him woiye!!
Ritah Serenum Happy b’day to man who has brought happiness, love, more confidence, free styles to one of the super lady Juliana K. All I wish they should get married and enjoy every moment together they have experienced in Coke Studio Africa mash-ups
Other social media users took different stance, asking people to stop speculating about a love connection between the two accomplished musicians.
Agie Kats Please people stop your stupidity Juliana has just wished Flavour his birth day but not proposing to him so try to respect others although u feel offended by them that’s your problem not theirs.
Juliana and Flavour have been paired up for several mash-ups in the ongoing Coke Studio Africa show and these include: Shake/Woman, Nakupenda and Ololufe/Haturudi Nyuma.
These videos have garnered millions of views on YouTube, and a source at Coke Studio Africa has said that the duos tracks are some of the most popular ones aired so far.
Their electric chemistry, particularly in the Nakupenda video, caused numerous blogs to write about the duo having a love connection. The two have, however, kept mum on the nature of their relationship.
The third season of Coke Studio Africa, which premiered on Citizen TV October 11th 2015, airs every Sunday at 8:00pm.
One key differentiator of this season is the introduction of the mash-up format which sees the various artists blend their top songs into one track.
The show features 27 artistes from Kenya, Nigeria, Tanzania, Uganda and Mozambique.
