One Instagram user going by the handle @Daniella_chedvah wrote: “Imitation that can lead you to hell Illuminati.”

On Wednesday March 9, Victoria Kimani took to Instagram to clear her name and personality from the mess.

The pop artiste posted a picture of her and her late role model and Stardust movie star, David Bowie with the same art on their faces and captioned it: “So quick pop music lesson of the day…. David Bowie’s alter ego Ziggy Stardust was known not only for his eclectic sound of music but also for his bold fashion statements and body/face art….”

She explained to fans that the photo had nothing to do with a secret cult, adding that she was just paying homage to Bowie.

“The app I used in this picture pays homage to the late David Bowie (RIP) ….. Some people have decided that I have joined a cult because of this picture…. And the blogs love it. But unfortunately it’s not true. I’m in the lab recording my first album and I love Jesus #AfricamustWakeup #Album1.”
