Former President Uhuru Kenyatta spotted watching basketball in the US

Photos have emerged of the former Head of State shaking hands with Wapi Pay founder Eddie Ndichu and the two appear to enjoy the conversation - just as they must have enjoyed the game.

Kenyatta, while wearing a green baseball cap and a puffy, black jacket, is seen gleefully looking up at Ndichu who also sports a black cap and a brown college jacket, aptly written 'Celtics'.

The duo were watching the playoffs game between Boston Celtics and Miami Heat at the TD Garden arena in Boston, US. 

An excited Ndichu took to his Instagram stories to share the encounter, captioning it, "Fancy meeting at the playoffs!"

While it is obviously unclear which team the former President supports, Ndichu's team of choice was clearly emblazoned on his brown college jacket but appears to have experienced a thrashing by the Miami Heat.

Kenyatta is an avid lover of basketball - in 2020, he famously met with retired German professional NBA player Dirk Nowitzki at State House, Nairobi.
