Friends, family to mourn Bokello at Thursday requiem mass

The requiem mass of late Inspekta Mwala actor, Mr Bon Aggrey Okello, who is  popularly known as Bokello, will take place Thursday (November 5) at 2pm at the All Saints Cathedral in Nairobi.

The celebrated actor’s burial ceremony will then be held on Saturday November 7^th 2015 in Kobura, Masogo, Kisumu County.

Bokello passed away on October 25^th at Mater Hospital while undergoing treatment. News of his demise saddened the entertainment industry and the Royal Media Services family.

Following the death announcement, Kenyans took to social media to condole with Bon Aggrey’s family.

Bokello played a police officer at Kona Mbaya Police Station on Inspekta Mwala.  Besides featuring in the local drama, he was also a radio presenter at Ramogi FM.

On Radio Ramogi, he was famously known as Wuon Ombugu (translation: Ombugu’s father).

He joined the Royal Media Family in September 2006 and continued on as an artistic asset until the time of his passing.
